Child Care Positions Available Starting July at Our Brand New Daycare Facility!
Welcome to Emey's Place child day care. We're looking forward to assisting families with their child care needs. We offer flexible day care plans including hourly, full time or part time care and are open to children of all ages from newborns up.
JANUARY 2010 UPDATE: We've been enjoying our new favility for a couple months now! We are now conveniently located just minutes away from the 401, off Homer Watson Rd. (in the Doon Village area). Check out the pictures of our fun new daycare!
What we offer
Only healthy nutritious snacks and meals
First aid and CPR certified
Schooled in Child Care and Child Development courses
Journals are provided for parents on each child's progress and accomplishments
Our stimulating daily activities include
Indoor and outdoor play (weather permitting)
Creative play and cognitive play including crafts, painting, colouring, puzzles and memory games
Dramatic play including dressing up and puppetry
Reading both fun and educational books with a variety of reading levels based on the child's age
Language, vocabulary, alphabet and number knowledge building activities
Walks to the park with tricycles for children of appropriate age

Trained in Child Care and Child Development courses, Emey Edgcumbe is ready to assist Waterloo Region families with their child care needs. Emey's First Aid and CPR certifications are up to date and her day care centre is full of fun and educational activities for children of all ages.

Our partially shaded yard is the perfect environment for your child to spend the warm summer days enjoying the outdoors under the shade of our big trees.
Our facilities include both indoor and outdoor play areas with education and recreational toys for children up to the ages of 6.
